User Analytics Manager 80%-100%

Launched in 1999 and now counting more than 3 million registered users, ricardo.ch is the de facto Swiss online marketplace. Every year, 5 million items change hands through our platform. To grow that number even further, we're looking to expand our team with a smart, talented and dedicated Analytics Manager to join our Data Intelligence team.

As the owner of Google Analytics tracking and the analytical insights that it brings, you will design tracking requirements, ensure consistency and accuracy of tracking on our platforms, bring your expertise in online behavioural analysis, and closely collaborate with product and marketing teams.

What you will do:

  • Design and maintain a multi-channel tracking solution for web and native apps based on best practices
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure appropriate tracking is in place in order to monitor important KPIs
  • Build insightful and actionable analyses using tools such as Google Data Studio or Tableau
  • Identify opportunities through data insights to continuously improve our user experience and work with Product teams to take action on those insights
  • Improve usage of Google Analytics in the organisation as a daily tool; drive adoption of its most critical features to help other teams’ decision making
  • Work with our marketing team and the central Tamedia teams to implement sophisticated channel attribution and ROI models
  • Contribute to the development of our company Data Lake (BigQuery), Self-Service data tools and data services with data engineers and scientists

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in web analytics
  • Significant experience with extracting data sets and understanding complex data models (e.g. SQL querying, ideally with BigQuery)
  • Experience with integration of third parties data
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics 360 and Google Analytics API
  • Ability to work well across different teams, to deal with ambiguity and manage to deadlines
  • Strong dedication to be a change agent with a positive can-do attitude
  • Capable of investigating, familiarizing and mastering new data-sets quickly using a hypothesis driven approach
  • Working knowledge of kanban, agile, scrum, continuous delivery and deployment
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform, GoogleAds certification is a plus
  • Fluency in English is required, German a plus
